This stunnning epiphytic anthurium is from Ecuador and Peru. Anthurium superbum is one of the most beautiful species in the genus. Leaf color and texture, a tight rosete of leaves held stiffly erect, and ease of culture make this species a must for any collection of Anthurium.
The leaf blade surface is ribbed and dark purple green, with the back of the leaf being purple or red. These plants show some really nice color on the back of the leaves. The leaves on these plants are about 6" long.
