A. advincula ined. This alocasia is a new find from Capiz Province in the Phillippines. It was discovered by Tony Advincula. This rare alocasia is a must for any serious aroid collector. These guys were selling for $100 at the 2003 Aroid show at Fairchild Botanical Gardens last year and is certainly one of the most unusual aroids around. The leaves undulate around the edge and they get wavier with age. The stalks have a very pronounced striped snakeskin pattern. Absolutely my favorite alocasia. Zones 9-11.
