The Cowboys:  John Wayne is Wil Anderson, a cattle rancher forced to use young boys to move his cattle to market. Eleven greenhorn schoolboys and the Duke embark on a cattle drive across four hundred treacherous miles. Along the way, thanks to the Duke's example, the boys become men and are forced to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
