Description: China, 1926, Jake Holman (Steve McQueen) is transferred to the USS San Pablo, a gunboat with the mission to patrol the Yangtze River. They must protect American interests in the region, without provoking an international incident. But the U.S. is not welcome there and Holman and his ally (Richard Attenborough) realize that the assignment to save a U.S. missionary may be their last!
