Our thinking is mere 'association' of unrelated thoughts from the past and the future. Any information perceived is processed through this database of unrelated information. As a result we make illogical decisions and miss the present. Meditation frees us from this pattern of unconscious decision-making. It keeps us in a state of complete awareness.
