The stone is topped by a sterling silver hinge, atop which is a trilliant cut, bezel set blue topaz and then a small round, freshwater pearl, also bezel set in high polished sterling silver.

A shepherd's hook (French hook) sits atop an elongated filigreed tube bead. Balinese bead from which the Byzantine bracelet is attached.
