L2 Design Collective is a wholely-owned subsidiary of design conglomerate, Lure Design.
We are ecstatic to announce that L2 Design Collective is featured in the July/August issue of Communication Arts. The article, entitled “Enterprising Designers,” reviews 6 design firms that create their own products. We are very honored to be featured alongside some of the best.
When we initially experimented with screenprinting, it was only a matter of time until it blossomed into something great. Adding to our mix of concert and movie posters, we introduced new products, such as notecards, journals and tote bags, all marketed under the moniker, L2 Design Collective. In 2005, we brought our start-up collection to the National Stationery Show in New York in anticipation of an opportunity. The show was a resounding success, and L2 has been growing ever since. With the creative minds of Jeff Matz, Paul Mastriani, and Sarah Blacksher, along with L2 manager and illustrator, Kim Fox, we’ve found a niche for our eclectic and hand-printed designs.
We feel lucky doing what we are passionate about, doing what we love, and it turns out that other people love it too. We think that’s just great.

THE LATEST L2 NEWS
We're mixing ink and printing and burning screens and reclaiming screens and packing and designing some more and printing and...you get the idea. We're busy working to fill up "NEW" section with all sorts of hand-printed treats. We'll be adding new things for the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out. SCREENPRINTING
We fell in love with the screen printing process 7 years ago. It gets us away from our computers and back to a more basic craft. Printing by hand. The water-based inks we use have a soft tactile finish you just can't get with offset printing.
