This halter is made with 20 continuous feet of 5/16" diamond braid rope that is specifically designed for tying halters. It is made to be stiff and have minimal stretch - NOT your mamby-pamby climbing rope that stretches that others use to make CHEAP halters. It is rot and mildew resistant, and has a test break strength of 1400 lbs. It is hand made with a genuine Fiador knot on the chin, and double overhand, or "blood knots" on the joints to elimintate twisting. CAUTION: Colors WILL FADE if your halter is left in the elements, especially in the direct sunlight.
The rope is a 5/8" MFP double braided marine grade rope that offers a soft, live feel with lots of energy. The ends are professionally spliced with the eye sewn for reinforcement, and finished at the weighted working tip with a latigo leather popper. Spanish Ring Knots are added to the ends to match your halter for NO EXTRA CHARGE! Solid Brass Bolt Snaps sold separately in the "Hardware" section.
