FactSet offers Certification in Applied Financial Modeling to Level I Financial Analysis Knowledge Base subscribers who satisfy the requirements listed below. Universally recognized on Wall Street, Certification also earns recipients 47.5 Continuing Professional Education credits.

Certification Requirements

• Complete the Level I Knowledge Base course material in its entirety (a subscription to the Knowledge Base Level I required)
• Pass a series of quizzes, placed throughout the program, designed to test retention of the material covered in the Knowledge Base
• Build a financial model in Excel from scratch
• Use his/her own completed financial model to answer a series of in-depth questions regarding financial analysis
• Submit his/her financial model to DealMaven for evaluation (application fee includes a maximum of three submissions)
