This fashion collection is adapted from original James Hart drawings by Monsoon of Montreal. James Hart, an internationally renowned artist who lives on Haida Gwaii in Canada’s northwest, traces his ancestry back to the legendary carver Charles Edenshaw (1837-1920). Most of the designs represent the Raven in its capacity as transformer and trickster, central to the complex expressive visual forms of Haida culture.
