     When Butch McGuire opened his saloon in the spring of 1961, it  began as a place where the local Gold Coast and Old Town residents could drink.  Butch served cold beer and great food. The recipe was one of success. The little neighborhood spot became an instant classic, and has been ever since. 
     We are still a family owned and operated saloon. Butch's son Bobby has taken over and continues with his dad's original hands on approach.  We are still serving ice cold beer, food every day and still have the best Reuben in the city.
     We hear from people all the time that they remember coming here in the 60's, 70's, 80's....you get the picture. So whether you are feeling nostalgic for the old days, or just trying to recapture the laughter of last week, McGuire Attire is a perfect fit!
