Getting Started with AvaTax for ProStores
AvaTax is the fastest, easiest, most accurate and affordable way for ProStores merchants to manage sales tax functions within their eCommerce store. Getting started with AvaTax is easy.
Start by selecting the number of AvaTax transactions you will use annually.
What is a transaction?
Each time a customer completes the shopping cart check-out process and an order is confirmed, a transaction is counted within your AvaTax for ProStores account. Irrespective of the number of items in the cart or the amount of tax applied if any, one transaction is counted for each order placed within the eCommerce store. No transactions are counted if a shopping cart is abandoned prior to completing the check-out process.
You need to select the Transaction level that matches the estimated number of transactions you will process through your store.
