10 year old Maria lost her sister Gloria to cancer after a 4 year battle. Art with Heart's book, Magnificent Marvelous Me, helped her explore her feelings of grief and loss – which had previously been “wadded up in a big ball” – and communicate them to her parents.
A gift of $250 provides Magnificent Marvelous Me to over 20 siblings of children with a serious illness or disability, providing support to decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety.
