This is a beautiful set of handcarved bookends. The symbol is an Adinkra symbol called Gye Nyame. It represents the omnipotence or supremacy of God. This unique and beautiful symbol is ubiquitous in Ghana. It is by far the most popular for use in decoration, a reflection on the deeply religious character of the Ghanaian people. The bookends measure approx. 5" wide and 9" High.
