This African savannah scene
decorative plate, hand carved out of natural stone, depicts a pair of elephants
and giraffes. The plate shows great as shelf (as pictured) and wall decorations/ornaments
and is a delightful addition to an African or animal theme/décor at the home
and the office.
The world’s largest and
tallest land animals respectively were etched into the soapstone to produce two
settings. Trumpeting elephants set against low hills in the far background with
a typical flat-topped acacia tree and grasses form the scene on the bottom half
of the plate. The giraffes in a similar savannah setting (without distant
hills) are framed by a beautiful red African sunset on the top half of the
plate.
